"My Fair Lady!"

The story follows cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle, who becomes the subject of phonetics professor Henry Higgins’ bold experiment: to transform her speech and manners so that she can pass as a duchess in high society. As Eliza blossoms with intelligence, confidence, and dignity, Higgins finds himself bewildered by his own changing feelings toward her. Filled with beloved songs like “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?” and “On the Street Where You Live,” the musical blends comedy, satire, and genuine warmth, creating a dazzling theatrical experience that has remained one of the most beloved works in American musical theater.

Mid-day we'll dine on a family-style feast of Amish favorites as we enjoy a buffet meal with a full salad bar and dessert at Farmstead Restaurant. After lunch we'll visit a brand new stop, the Berlin Craft Mall. This craft mall is unique in that it is stocked with locally made handcrafted goods, the sales of which benefit the local nonprofit daycare for children with special needs. Then shop for apples and cider at Hillcrest Apple Orchard, and our last stop will be at Walnut Creek Cheese and Bulk Food Store. Of course, time is allowed for shopping at each stop we make and you'll receive a "goodie" to take home with you. Bring a cooler if you wish to purchase meat. Make sure it is identified with your name. Recall that some businesses we visit do not accept credit cards.
Includes round trip deluxe motorcoach transportation, family-style meal, the services of a local step-on guide, goodie bag with gifts, touring and shopping time.
