The Greenbrier is a National Historic Landmark and world-class resort that has been welcoming guests from around the world since 1778. Each November the resort's activity schedule brings a new lineup of seasonal spirit, musical performances, holiday movies in the theater, winter craft workshops and tree ceremonies, all creating a wonderful holiday extravaganza.

**Book an optional tour of the Bunker. Completed in 1961 under the Eisenhower Administration, the Bunker was built and maintained for the purpose of housing government dignitaries from Washington D.C. in the event of a nuclear attack. **Optional tour of the Bunker is on your own. The cost is $39 per person (current 2021 rate) and your reservation can be made upon arrival at the resort. The tour length is 90 minutes and involves major walking and standing.

Dress Code at Greenbrier Resort: Before 6:00 PM, dress for comfort and weather. Casual clothing and well-kept dark shade denim are allowed in the dining room for breakfast and lunch.
